Why Orion Physical Therapy?
At Orion Physical Therapy, your sessions are always one full hour with a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. You’ll never be handed off to an untrained tech. More 1-on-1 time means faster, lasting results. Our team not only helps you recover but also equips you with the knowledge and skills to stay pain-free as long as possible. As athletes ourselves, we understand your goals — and we won’t tell you to stop doing what you love. Instead, we’ll help you keep moving safely and confidently.
No. In the state of Utah you are able to be seen by a PT without the need for a referral!

Your treatment sessions will vary based on your goals. Your first evaluation, our PT will provide you a diagnosis, plan of care, and start to begin treatment. Our treatment model does not include boring or pointless movements. We utilize barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, and various manual therapy approaches to get you back as fast as possible. We have also been known to hit new PR’s with our patients during their plan of care!

We currently accept: Blue Cross Blue Shield, EMI Health, PEHP, Medicare / Medicaid, SelectHealth Medicaid, Auto Accident Claims, Tricare

If we don’t take your insurance, we encourage you to explore our out-of-network/cash options. Many of our patients find that out-of-network benefits can still make care affordable, and we’re happy to help you navigate that process.

No problem! Many of our patients use our cash-based / out-of-network option because it allows more 1-on-1 time and higher quality care. You simply pay at the time of service (cash, card, HSA/FSA), and if you have out-of-network benefits, we’ll give you the paperwork to submit for possible reimbursement. Most of our patients actually prefer this model because it puts them in control of their care and helps them get better results, faster.

Out-of-network PT may seem costly at first, but it can actually save you time, money, and unnecessary visits. Unlike insurance-driven care, your treatment is fully tailored to you—no restrictions, no templated plans.

With in-network care, co-pays can run $50–$100 per session, often 2–3 times per week, for care that may not address your unique needs. Out-of-network, your physical therapist controls the plan, giving you access to advanced techniques like manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, and strength training—everything you need to reach your full potential.
